Program used: PSP 9
Level: Beginner
Supplies: mini kit Baby Halloween by Lise-Lotte Sunesen. It can be found here.
Also used: Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.
* Open paper # 01 and duplicate. Close the original, save the copy. That will from now on be our working canvas. Promote it to a layer.
* Open paper # 02, copy and paste as a new layer on your canvas.
* Copy and paste one of the pumkins and the star frame to the canvas.
* Resize all layers to 600*600 px. IF you want to print your layout, then DON`T resize!
* With your Rectangle Tool make a rectange on the canvas with these settings:
![]()
* Go to Objects/Align/Center In Canvas. Convert to raster.
* Copy the rectangle and move it a bit to the left. Use a help line (/blue line) to make sure it is placed exactly at the same height.
* Copy the rectangle to the left and go to Image/Mirror.
This is what my layout looks like at the moment:

* Push the blue help linie out of the canvas.
* Now merge the three rectangle layers to one layer.
* Go to Selections/Select All/Float/Defloat. x out the rectangle layer plus the second paper layer (paper # 02). Click on the second paper layer, right click and chose Promote Selection To Layer.

* Deselect.
* Because of the text on paper # 01 (“Halloween Halloween”), I´m going to move the promoted layer a bit up.
* Place the frame and the pumpkin to your liking. Then with your selection tool (Magic Wand) click inside the frame. Go to Selections/Modify/Expand 2 px. Then go to the two paper layers (paper # 01 plus the promoted rectangle layer) and press delete.

* Time to add some shadows. I used Eye Candy 5 Impact Perspective Shadow with these settings on the pumpkin and the frame:

And the same filter with these settings on the promoted rectangle layer:

* If you want to save your layout as a QUICK PAGE do it now by chosing File/Save Copy As/ Save as a png.

* Find the picture you want to use. Copy it behind the paper layer. Resize and reposition it as needed.
* If you like you can add some text or journaling now. Remember to add a drop shadow (/not a perspective shadow) to it.
I didn´t add anything to my layout.
* Your layout is now finished!
This is my result:
